Size: 54" long by 26" wide by 32" high Materials: Maple, Cherry and Rosewood Description: A set of two matching desks for a returning client. The design is taken from a Fine Woodworking article the client provided and adapted to their needs. The desks each have four drawers, a slide out writing surface and a slide out keyboard tray behind the drop front. The pulls are all turned from a single small piece of Rosewood and buffed to a high gloss. Both tops are made of book-matched Cherry boards. The tops are finished with a hand rubbed Oil and Varnish mixture while the bases and interiors are finished with super blonde Shellac rubbed to a beautiful satin sheen. |
